Log Home Repair and Restoration Services offer a selection of maintenance plans to fit your budget. Many of our clients join our programs with easy monthly payments. Once you have made the decision to protect your log home, we can take over regular inspections, scheduled cleaning, staining touch up and more. It helps you budget your regular maintenance work and gives you peace of mind. Depending on the program that you select, we schedule include the following:
* Caulking and Seals-will be inspected to ensure that the home is sealed properly and no failures have occurred
* Review exterior for mold growth have occurred (Corrective action will be done to reseal)
* Deck splash areas will be examined
* Review exterior evidence of the presence of insects
* Chinking and Backer Rod- will be inspected to ensure that no chinking failures or separation have occurred
* Interior walkthrough to determine if any exterior water infiltration exists
* Clean logs with sodium Percarbonate Solution
* Light pressure washing of home to prep for maintenance coats
* Windows and Doors-will be inspected, check all seals, casings and thresholds for leakage
* Application of Clear Coats Maintenance coats as needed.
* Structural Integrity-Logs and porches will be inspected for decay and insect activity
* Seal and repair any carpenter bee activity
* Location of landscaping in relation to the home will be inspected and verified
* Touch up stain areas as needed
* Mildew and insecticide Treatment
* Outside spigots will be examined for leaks and improper drainage issues
* Check logs and siding for water repellency
* Roof splash areas will be examined
* Check logs and siding for UV damage
